The 4th International Conference on Hypervalent Iodine Chemistry (ICHIC2014) was concluded on 5th July 2014.
The conference was a great success with 140 participants from 11 countries, a total of 25 oral communications and 24 posters.
See you in Switzerlandin July 2016!!
Tatsuo Kaiho
You are cordially invited to participate to the 4th International Conference on Hypervalent Iodine Chemistry (ICHIC2014), which will be held in Narita,Chiba, Japan on July 2-5, 2014.
The ICHIC have previously been held in Thessaloniki (2001,2006), and Bordeaux (2010). Hypervalent iodine reagents are now used extensively in organic synthesis as a mild, safe, and economical alternative to heavy metal or rare metal reagents.
The objective of the ICHIC2014 is to bring together academic and industrial scientists to discuss all aspects of the chemistry of hypervalent iodine compounds, from the structure, reactivity and design of new variants to their utilization in synthetic methodologies and application in industry. Papers on these topics will constitute the scientific program of the conference, which will include 15 invited lectures, short talks and poster presentations.
